Work with families who value your craft
Expat Nannies puts nannies in front of international families looking for exactly what you offer — experience, languages, and warmth. We make the introduction; you and the family agree the arrangement directly.

“Families see a professional profile — your experience, certifications and availability — and request an introduction you can accept or decline.”
You are the professional. It shows.
Your rate, 100% yours
You set your hourly rate and agree terms directly with each family. We do not take a cut of your earnings.
Your schedule
Full weeks, after-school hours, or occasional evenings — your profile shows exactly the availability you want to offer.
Your privacy
Families see your first name and professional details only. Contact details are exchanged only after you accept an introduction.
What arranging care directly means here
You agree care arrangements directly with each family. Some nannies operate a registered business; other lawful arrangements and household-service rules may apply. Actual working conditions determine tax, insurance and employment duties. New to working independently in the Netherlands? Our freelancing guide for nannies lists the official places to start: registering with the KvK, tax and invoicing, insurance, and how to get a VOG.
We built the platform this way on purpose: it keeps you in control of your rates and your client relationships, instead of an agency sitting between you and the family.
What we review before publishing your profile
- Your identity — either ID photos or a short video call, whichever suits you
- The childcare experience you describe in your profile
- Any certificates you choose to show (first aid, VOG, diplomas). These are optional: you can join and be published without them.
